Brand new blog, very first entry!
So, if you already know me from ravelry as zaidiebug, or Hogwarts Live as Zaida, or on fanfiction.net as zaida.thorngage - then yes, all one in the same.
I picked up crochet nearly a year ago now, and I at least wanted to keep up with my little projects on here (since I don't want everyone crowding my personal Facebook page...). Most of them are "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" themed - and most of them have wound up as gifts! It was only RECENTLY (as in last weekend) that I FINALLY crocheted something to keep for myself.
So... I've got a $30 shoulder shrug made of Malabrigo Rios yarn. Does it look like it cost $30? Not hardly... but it was the first pattern I ever did that wasn't labelled "beginner." (So, woots for me!)
I'll update as I can and hope to read your comments, suggestions, etc.
